Our women major pennant journey to the Final at Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club has been nothing but exciting, I have enjoyed watching quality golf and witnessed some very exciting matches from our young team in the Semifinal last Sunday at Riverside Oaks where they sent NSW home with 4/1 win.

Final match will be played at 11:30am on Sunday April 8th at THGCC. St. Michael’s “Wildcats” will play Concord; another young team who is also undefeated in the prelim stage. We are sure to have a battle on our hands but what an achievement it would be for St Michaels if we could bring home the Division 1 Major Pennant Flag.

The support received at our home games in the preliminary rounds was fantastic, the Wildcats loved to see our ladies wore their green shirts as a sign of support each time we played at home. Our support at the final match might just make all the difference. It’s a long drive however I would urge all of you who love watching great golf to be there, in your green shirt, to support our Wildcats.

Our young ladies do us proud they are a wonderful team and could give a lesson or two to the mens’ Australian Cricket Team on how to conduct themselves with integrity and character.

Hope to see you there.
